Nursery children visit The Little Angel Puppet Theatre and enjoy the garden classroom workshops at King Henry's Walk Garden and Clissold Park.

Children at the Upper School have regular educational visits linked to their topics, including Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood, Geffrye Museum, London Canal Museum, Regents Park Zoo, Clissold Park, Chiltern Open Air Museum, Bradwell-on-Sea, Ragged School Museum, Science Museum, Neasden Temple, Florence Nightingale Museum, Discover and the Little Angel Puppet Theatre.

Regular visitors to the School include the road safety team, local police community officer, storytellers, the Junk Orchestra and One Drum, as well as parents sharing books, stories or special celebrations and artefacts with their child’s class.

We have a tradition of holding regular themed weeks each term e.g. Our Wonderful World, Harvest Festival Week, Healthy Living, Recycling, Book Week, People Who Help Us.  These add breadth and depth to our curriculum and frequently involve parents and the wider community.

The Nursery and the Upper School each have a pet dragon lizard which children are encouraged to care for during the day and School holidays.

The School maintains a plot at a local community garden on King Henry’s Walk.

We are proud of our children’s involvement in the School and wider community.  Children help others through regular fund-raising including Year 2’s Outreach Stall at the summer fair, arts and crafts for the Christmas auction, Wheelies, Harvest bake-in, Red Nose day and our mini farmers market.  All children have monitor responsibilities, participate in local events for the elderly, act as ‘buddies’ to new children and make cards and gifts for our reading volunteers and other visitors.
