Healthy Eating

Children are offered milk or water and a healthy snack at break time including fresh fruit and vegetables, rice cakes or bread, cheese or honey.

Children have named water bottles or cups in class and can help themselves to water at any time.

Children in the Upper School and in the full-day session at the Nursery bring a healthy, nut-free packed lunch.

Cooking activities are planned regularly as part of the weekly or topic timetable and in after-school Cookery Clubs eg fruit salad, mini vegetable frittatas, banana and date muffins etc.
