The Children’s House Nursery School was founded in 1973 by a group of Islington parents. In 2005 The Children’s House Upper School was opened to meet the demands of local families for a pre-preparatory education.

The School is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity governed by its Council of Management. There is an active Parent Committee.

The School is non-denominational and welcomes children from all faiths and beliefs.
Communication between parents and staff is valued and encouraged.

The Schools are inspected by Ofsted.
